Welcome to your Scorpio Full Moon // May 1
So…
just when the universe finally gave us a tiny little breath of forward movement…
just when Aries season came in like a beautifully unhinged personal trainer screaming
“GET UP, CHANGE YOUR LIFE, TEXT NO ONE, DRINK WATER”—
the cosmos said:
adorable.
Now let’s hand them a Scorpio Full Moon.
Because apparently emotional peace was getting a little too luxurious.
As a Scorpio woman, I felt personally obligated to write about this.
First, because I am one—and if there’s one thing we’re going to do, it’s feel everything and then write poetry about it.
Second, because this is one of the deepest most intensely powerful energetic portals of the year.
And third, because after that Aries New Moon lit the match, it only makes sense to talk about what this Scorpio Full Moon is asking us to burn. Let's close the circle just like the fullness of the moon, shall we?
Because Aries said:
begin.
Scorpio says:
yes… but first, tell me the truth.
And not the cute truth.
Not the socially acceptable truth.
Not the “I’m fine” truth.
The real one.
The one your body knows before your mind is ready to admit it.
Because between Aries and Scorpio, we are talking about fire and water.
Action and surrender.
Impulse and intimacy.
Desire and depth.
Passion and power.
We are talking about the phoenix.
And no—before Instagram turns this into another dramatic “cut everyone off and move to Bali” moment (which sounds pretty great too though let's be honest) —let me offer a little Scorpio editor’s note:
Full moons are not always external endings.
Sometimes the ending is you.
Not your marriage.
Not your career.
Not your relationship.
Your identity.
Your old nervous system patterns.
Your old survival self.
Your old attachment to proving, performing, controlling, chasing.
Sometimes the death is ego.
Sometimes the ending is the version of you that could only survive through hyper-independence, overthinking, people pleasing, self-abandonment, or pretending you were “fine.”
That is still an ending.
That is still a full moon.
And frankly, that’s usually the deeper work.
Take it from me:
as a Scorpio woman, it is almost never about what’s happening on the surface.
It is always about what’s underneath.
Always.
The fight is rarely about the fight.
The breakup is rarely about the breakup.
The job isn’t just the job.
The trigger isn’t the trigger.
It’s the wound under it.
The pattern under it.
The fear under it.
The identity under it.
Go there.
Go deeper.
Because Scorpio does not care about surface-level astrology.
Scorpio is the underworld.
It rules sex, death, rebirth, intimacy, power, trust, betrayal, transformation, shared energy, shadow work, and the subconscious.
Basically: all the things people love to avoid and then wonder why their life feels misaligned.
Scorpio asks:
Where are you still gripping?
Where are you still performing?
Where are you confusing control with safety?
Where are you asking for intimacy while still hiding?
Where are you mistaking obsession for intuition?
And maybe most importantly:
Where have you been taught to fear your own power?
Because let’s talk about that.
Especially for women.
We have been taught for generations that our bodies are dangerous.
Too much.
Too loud.
Too sensual.
Too emotional.
Too sexual.
Too intuitive.
Too powerful.
We were taught to disconnect from the very place our wisdom lives.
But your sensual center is not shameful.
It is sacred.
It is truth.
It is sovereign.
and it is B E A U T I F U L.
Your womb space.
Your hips.
Your belly.
Your sacral center.
This is not just sex.
This is creation.
This is intuition.
This is life force.
This is your birthing center—whether you are birthing a child, a business, a new life, a new self, or a whole new damn timeline.
It is the same center.
Your sensuality is not separate from your power.
It is your power.
Scorpio knows this.
Taurus, sitting opposite this full moon, asks for grounding, pleasure, embodiment, worth.
Scorpio asks for truth.
Together they ask:
Can you trust your body enough to listen when it whispers before life has to scream?
Can you stop outsourcing your knowing?
Can you let your body lead?
Because your body always knows first.
The tight chest.
The held breath.
The jaw tension.
The stomach drop.
The exhaustion.
The resistance.
The pull.
Your body is never lying.
It is your first oracle.
This is why my work lives here:
Breathwork.
Hypnosis.
Somatics.
Subconscious rewiring.
Nervous system regulation.
Embodied self-leadership.
Embodied Astrology.
Because you cannot journal your way out of a body that still feels unsafe.
You cannot mindset your way through something your nervous system still believes is dangerous.
And Scorpio?
Scorpio will expose exactly where your body is still holding old stories.
This moon is not asking you to burn your whole life down.
Please do not text your ex and blame astrology.
It is asking you to become honest enough to know what actually needs to end.
And sometimes—and I need you to hear me on this—sometimes the thing meant for you is not the easy thing.
We are sold this fantasy that alignment always feels soft, graceful, effortless.
No.
Sometimes the relationship meant for you mirrors you so clearly it triggers every wound you’ve been avoiding.
Sometimes the job meant for you demands a version of leadership you haven’t embodied yet.
Sometimes the lesson is not leaving.
Sometimes the lesson is becoming.
Sword sharpens sword.
Pressure creates diamonds.
Depth creates power.
Now obviously—let me be clear—I am not telling you to stay in what dishonors you.
Never.
But I am saying don’t confuse discomfort with misalignment.
And don’t confuse avoidance with intuition.
Go deeper.
Ask harder questions.
Scorpio is a water sign.
People think Scorpio is fire because we’re intense.
No, babe.
We are water.
Deep water.
Still water.
Dangerous water.
Healing water.
Truth-telling water.
The kind you do not survive by fighting.
You survive by learning how to surrender, how to flow.
So this full moon?
Let it wash over you.
Let it show you.
Let it reveal what your soul already knows.
You were not given these waters if you were not meant to learn how to swim in them.
Trust that.
The Aries New Moon lit the match.
This Scorpio Full Moon asks:
what are you finally ready to become?
And maybe the answer isn’t leaving.
Maybe it’s rising.
Beautifully.
Honestly.
Sensually.
Powerfully.
Very Scorpio of you.
This is the portal my work was built for.
For the woman who is done outsourcing her knowing.
Done calling her body “dramatic.”
Done mistaking nervous system chaos for intuition.
Done abandoning herself in the name of being chosen.
This is where we return.
To the body.
To the breath.
To the subconscious.
To the sacred intelligence beneath the noise.
Because your power was never the problem.
Your fear of fully inhabiting it was.
This Scorpio Full Moon is not only here to make you feel more deeply.
It is here to make you more honest.
More embodied.
More sovereign.
More impossible to separate from the deepest waters of your highest self.
And that?
That is so very Scorpio of you, you Phoenix rising from the ashes you.
If this stirred something in you, come closer.
